Resurrection Window, Holy Cross, Alpine

 He has risen! The Holy Week windows at Holy Cross Anglican Church REC Alpine, Texas culminate with the Resurrection (2025) and Emmaus (2018) windows. There are so many things to get lost in in stained glass--design, cartoon, painting--but once again the glass was the highlight for me. 75% of this window was repurposed glass from old churches going all the way back to a Vicksburg Church restoration I did in 2013. It seems appropriate to the Resurrection that something broken and useless became transformed into something glorious....although poor Michelle who had to glaze all these tiny pieces!!!!
