Our Story

From middle school on, I heard the call to be a missionary–-though I did not know the way.  This persistent call; however, seemed irreconcilable with my persistent love for drawing.  One call was heavenly, one call was earthly, and the crux between them did not yet appear as a gift that could heal.  

While studying to be a Baptist preacher, I fell in love with an artist, Michelle Fay–embarking on a life-long journey that has drawn together the paths of family, ordination in the Anglican Tradition, and mastery in the Arts and Crafts Tradition.  It has been a  long journey towards overcoming the compartmentalization of Art from Life and of Work from the Sacred.  

In 2001, Mark began working at Lighthouse Glass in Houston..  Not long after 

we recieved our first commission for the Holy Trinity, Good Shepherd window 

 which we built in our dining room.

In 2005, Mark became Site Foreman for Stained Glass Resources, restoring stained glass out of the historic Pittsburgh Stained Glass Studio. 

September 14, 2007, Grace Mount Washington

Bleakley Stained Glass opened in 2010, during our first call in Vicksburg, MS,

and continued through 8 years as Vicar of All Saints in Monroe, LA.  

In 2019, after 3 years of Freelance work for Willet Studios,

Mark was asked to head up the Design Department in Winona MN

In 2026, the Bleakley family moved from MN to PA to take care of family. 

For 25 years, Bleakley Stained Glass has created enduring windows that support the liturgy, catechize and inspire generations with the Gospel in living color.
